At the AMURT Bhavan, the Abha Seva Sadan unit has been operating for an extended period, offering various medical services. On the first Sunday of each month, specialized doctors visit the unit to address the healthcare needs of patients.

How Land For Ananda Nagar Was Obtained
In 1955, Ananda Marga Pracáraka Samgha was formally established at Jamalpur, Bihar. On the very first day,

1. First of all, Anandanagar is the registered headquarters of Ań anda Maŕ ga Pracaŕ aka Saḿgha (AMPSCentral). AMPS is a global organization with satellite offices in nine sectors covering the entire globe. Activities of AMPS are controlled and supervised from Central Anandanagar(AN) via DEL, HK, MAN, SUVA, NY, GT, BER, QAH,NBI -the nine sectorial offices. Central Anandanagar serves as the central hub for all departments and wings of AM. PROUT, VSS/Seva Dal, SDM, ERAWS/WWD, AMURT, GURUKULA, PCAP etc all have their global coordinating offices at AN. The annual DMS is held twice a year at AN and brings thousands of workers and volunteers for further planning and strategizing of the global mission.
2. Anandanagar is also the Central Master Unit linking up the string of district level master units being developed in all corners of the globe. Master Unit is the demonstration of the PROUTIST model of ecological development and building of a self-reliant community. PROUT is the socioeconomic philosophy of Ananda Marga propounded in 1957 by Shrii Shrii Anandamurtiji as an alternative to dominant capitalist and communist models of development. Sanctuaries, Commerce Compounts, Industrial Projects, Farm Projects, Alternative Energy Generation Units, Canteens & Cafeterias etc— all have a significant role in the AN planning as envisioned by the founder Bab́ a.́
3. Service Community: Anandanagar planning is not limited to development of organizational projects but extends to embrace the task of serving the local villages to upgrade their standard of living and enhance their purchasing power. The local population gets employment at AN projects and improves its economic base. Cooperative economy is being developed through mutual exchanges and coordinated cooperation.
4. Anandanagar is also becoming a global educational hub through a grand vision of a University to be called Ananda Marga Gurukula. Research, Teaching and Consulting are carried on by researchers, scholars and wisdom teachers network from all over the globe. The scope of Gurulula is vast and covers diverse domains like medical studies, arts, humanities, farming, entrepreneurship and yogic & intuitional sciences. Over 226 agricultural research centers are envisioned at AN. Hormone Research, Electro-nuclear research and Ancient and Modern Literature research centers also have been prominently positioned at AN. Planetarium, Science Museum, Archeological Sites , Modern Airport/Helipads are all expected to develop over time at this future township.
5. Anandanagar is the most sacred global hub of ancient Tantra Pithas— sacred spiritual sites. Five Marga Guru Quarters and 64 tantra-piithas will be nested in beauty spots and flower gardens and provide a conducive atmosphere for going deep within and realizing the divinity that provides elan-vital to this creation. Spiritual culture is nurtured through regular kiirtans, sadhana shivers, weekly meditations and stu-vol camps.
